As you get acquainted with the new surroundings, we will be on hand to help every step of the way. We know your arrival brings changes in your life and are available to help support you in balancing the pressures of being away from home with the rush of independence that college life brings.
To help manage the academic demands, the University has many resources to help build and strengthen your study skills and strategies, identify and understand learning styles, maximize technology, and so much more. The financial aid and scholarship team will counsel and assist you with monetary concerns and ensure that you are aware of all available support options. We can also introduce you to opportunities to make new friends, go to events, get involved with activities, engage in the community, determine your career goals, and to thrive in an environment which shares a set of principles outlined in the University’s Commitment to Community.
Just as excitement and anticipation builds in Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night, so too has our excitement built in anticipation of your arrival. We invite you to seize the opportunity to learn about the traditions and history of LSU, to participate in student activities and programs, and to add your footprint to the path of this great University.
