ABOUT

Mission

The mission of University Information Systems (UIS) is to develop, enhance, maintain, and protect the academic, research, and administrative information resources of the University. UIS provides mission-critical applications and tools that support effective and efficient institutional processes and provide for academic analytics.



Administrative Applications

Administrative applications are currently maintained in the following areas: Computing Services, Facilities Management, General Administrative Support, Human Resource Management, Information Resource Management Services, Institutional Finances, Institutional Planning, Instructional Support, Research Support, Student Enrollment Management, Student Finance, Student Life, and Student Services.

UIS performs its mission in close collaboration with its campus partners. Please see the Information Systems section of this Web site for more information.



Data Access

One of the primary responsibilities of both UIS and its campus partners with regard to the information resources of the University is to protect and ensure the confidentiality of the information stored in the University’s databases.

For information on gaining access to the systems we maintain, please refer to the University's data management policies as overseen by the University’s Chief IT Security & Policy Officer.
