Thank you for your interest in supporting diversity at LSU or wanting to become connected to the diversity and community outreach efforts of our office. Diversity is a core value. We believe it is central to building knowledge. With our motto of “diverse people and diverse talents,” we strive to help members of the LSU family (i.e., students, faculty, staff, and community partners) recognize the intellectual and social potential of embracing the ideas, experiences, traditions, and cultures of those who are different from ourselves.
And, YOU, too, can be a part of our efforts in promoting diversity within and outside our University gates. Your contribution(s) can assist in strengthening student recruitment and retention, increasing cultural programming and education, heightening faculty recruitment, broadening retention and professional development, promoting community outreach and volunteerism, and enhancing cultural facilities. Ways to Give
There are different methods for giving (e.g., scholarships, general support, donation, etc.). We recommend that you first contact our office. You can contribute by check, money order, or online. If using the online method, please be sure to specify “Equity and Diversity” or “EDCO” in the Other Information slot.
Ways to Outreach
If you or your company would like to sponsor any of our programs and projects, become affiliated with our unit, or want to help us promote the objectives of our office, please contact us.
Ways to Connect
We want to hear from you. If you are an alum who was involved with any of our offices and are making great strides in your career, the community, or other areas of diveristy, let us know. Contact our office with your recent accomplishment.
