Nominate someone for PROFILES

Each quarter, the Office of Equity, Diversity & Community Outreach (EDCO) will recognize a student, faculty member or staff person that epitomizes diversity, equality, social justice through leadership, teaching, research, or service. To nominate an individual, please submit their résumé or vita, along with a significant accomplishment that signifies their commitment to education and diversity to diversity@lsu.edu with “nominee for profiles” in the subject line.

Join the LSU Faculty Diversity Directories

In an effort to better connect the campus community and foster collaboration among scholars, the LSU Office of Equity, Diversity & Community Outreach (EDCO) would like to provide two options to faculty:

1. Faculty Directory – this directory will be a listing of scholars from affinity groups who a) voluntarily submit their contact information to our office and b) could serve as a resource for students of affinity groups. This directory of faculty is not to marginalize our faculty, but exists to better connect members of minority populations and help increase the recruitment and retention of diverse faculty.

2. Diversity Research Directory – this directory will contain a list of scholars conducting research around diversity, equity, or community-university partnership issues.

Information included in these directories would include name, department, research interests, current research topics/projects/grants, years at LSU, email, department or office phone, and any other brief comments that you would like to share about yourself.

If you are interested in joining our directory, please submit your information via email to diversity@lsu.edu and a note indicating which directories you would like to be included.
